Why Is the Internet Slow? 🚶♂️📡
Slow internet speeds can be frustrating, especially while traveling. Here are some factors that might affect performance and how to optimize your connection:
1. Network Coverage and Towers
Internet speed depends on proximity to nearby cell towers.
If you're near a 5G tower, you’ll get faster speeds.
If you see "LTE", you’re on 4G. It’s still fast and reliable.
2. Device Compatibility
You need a 5G-capable iPhone to access 5G networks.
If your phone doesn’t support 5G, it will connect to LTE or the next best network.
3. Data Roaming Settings
Ensure Data Roaming is enabled in your iPhone’s settings.
This allows your phone to connect to the strongest available network.
Follow the eSIM setup guide for iOS if needed.
4. Select the Correct Network
Manually choosing the right network can improve speed.
See the guide for selecting a network on iOS.
